Project 5 Pan - Update 1

It has officially been 1 week since I started my project pan. Here is the progress that I made.

#1. Buxom Full On Lip Cream in "White Russian"

Opinions: The buxom glosses are my favorite so it's no surprise that I love this gloss. I wear it most often by itself. However, i discovered that if i layer it on top of bite beauty's matte lipstick in "cashew" it helps give me more of a fall vibe (and make that lipstick more wearable on me! Two birds with one stone!)

Amount Left: I was amazed at how much progress I actually made. I didn't really notice much progress as I was using it, but when I wet to mark it for the picture it had gone down. It definitely wont be done by the end of this month, but I'm excited to make substantial progress on it.


#2. Stila's One Step Correct Primer

Opinions: This primer doesn't really extend the life of my foundations, but it feels nice on the skin and I feel it does even my skin tone even if just slightly. It plays well with both my liquid foundation (NARS sheer glow) and my powder foundation (Sephora pressed foundation powder) so it easy to use it daily.

Amount Left: I thought I'd have more progress than this with using it everyday, but this is the first time I've paid attention to how past the product goes down. I'll have to see come the end of the month if this is done or not. 

#3. Bare Minerals Mineral Veil Pressed Powder in "Transluscent" (Discontinued)

Opinions: I really LOVE this setting powder. This was the 3rd one I owned, and when I found out it was discontinued I started hoarding it. But I'm trying to get myself out of that habit so I don't have to chuck items I love because I didn't want to lose them (This happened with 3 lipsticks not too long ago ugh!)

Amount Left: It's hard to tell, but I think the pan is slightly bigger? We'll see how it looks next week.

#4. BUXOM Eyeshadow in "Mink Magnet" (sample size)

Opinion: This isn't my favorite eye shadow. I find that as the day goes on some of the glitter particles fall down (even with my eye primer). But the shade is beautiful and works well to put all over the lid as a quick 1 shadow look for work.

Amount Left: There's a slight dip right in the middle. I'm not sure how deep the sample size pan is though.

#5. Mariah Carey Dreams Women's Perfume - Eau de Parfum (Roller ball)

Opinion: I enjoy this perfume. I am horrible as describing scents, so I'm not going to even try. I like roller balls because I can have this in purse to use while I'm out. Plus I feel that the scent lasts longer when I apply it with a roller ball.

Amount Left: Last week it was right at the "I". I've made it down to line in the "R" now. Excited to see progress as I have been trying to use this up for so long now.
