Guardian Wilderness 8-Hour Repellent

Recently I received my very first VoxBox from Influenster (Yay!). I was so excited to receive one so I could review it here.

What I received was the Guardian Wilderness 8-Hour Repellent. It doesn't sound like a very exciting thing to receive, but I was looking forward to it. I am allergic to bug bites, so when I get them they turn into big painful welts along with itching like crazy. And, after a recent occurrence fresh in my mind (which left scars), I was thrilled to try this out.

I normally hate bug spray, the smell and alcohol-y feeling leaves me hating it (and more often than not, not using it). Normally if i use something, I've been holding one of those Clip on things.

The smell of this was not the alcohol-y smell I expected. The smell actually didn't repulse me at all, and was actually quite pleasant. It also didn't leave a filmy greasy feeling over top my skin.

I used it this past weekend when I went to a festival and took a trip to some cabins by the lake. I did not get one single bug bite (double yay!). And I will say, it does last at least 8 hours. I'd just spray this on the morning (nine o'clock), and still had no bug bites after that time (four o'clock).

I also wanted to add (just so you know) that this repellent is plant-based, safe for kids, and Deet free.

I give this an A+, I will be buying this when my bottle runs out!!
