Project 10 Pan: Update 3

It's Update Time for my project 10 pan!

3 weeks down! Let's see where I am with the products.

#1. Buxom Full On Lip Cream in "White Russian"

(No picture...)

Opinions: Soooo.... I left my lip gloss tube on the counter at work on Tuesday. And since we went on Thanksgiving break, I wont be back until tomorrow. So, no update for this product. I'll update it next week.

Amount Left: Who knows?!

#2. Bare Minerals Mineral Veil Pressed Powder in "Transluscent" (Discontinued)

Opinions: I'm going to miss this powder. It was one of my favorites for a pressed setting powder. I'll have to hunt down another pressed setting powder after I use more of my loose setting powder samples.

Amount Left: Just a few bigger chunks left in there now. I think this'll be the last week I work on this.

#3. Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Face Compact in "Light 05"

#4. NARS Satin Lip Pencil in "Rakuan"

#5. Maybelline Master Fix Setting Spray 

Opinion: Used this every time I did my makeup this week! 

Amount Left: We're getting there.. I have no idea when it'll be used up though.

#6. Laura Mercier Cavier Stick in "Rose Gold" 

Opinion: I like this okay, but I think I'm getting sick of using it. I'm itching to just play with my eyeshadow.

Amount Left: Pretty even amount being used each week. From the look of the lines, it seems I've used up a little more than half of this stick.

#7. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in "Zero" 

Opinion: I really like this black liner. It goes on smooth and creamy and stays in place (even in my top waterline) pretty well. 

Amount Left: Chugging along. Haha. We'll see where I'm at come the end of this project. I know I won't be finishing it, but it'll be fun seeing the amount of progress made.

Project 10 Pan: Update 2

It's Update Time for my project 10 pan!

2 weeks down! Let's see where I am with the products.

#1. Buxom Full On Lip Cream in "White Russian"

Opinions: I'm enjoying this gloss. This shade is one of my favorites, and it works really well as a purse lippie.

Amount Left: There wasn't as much progress on this as of late since I was also using the Nars Rakugan lipstick. Since that one is all used up, I'm hoping to make more progress on it this next week.

#2. Bare Minerals Mineral Veil Pressed Powder in "Transluscent" (Discontinued)

Opinions: As mentioned last month, this is one of my favorite setting powders (I was devastated when they discontinued it) I just want to enjoy it and move it out of my collection.

Amount Left: As you can tell there is significantly less powder inside. Most of it is from using the product, but I notice that some powder chunks are on my counter from tapping them out of my kabuki brush. I will continue to use this until it becomes too difficult, or it is used up.

#3. Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Face Compact in "Light 05"

Opinion: This is my favorite face powder. I have already repurchased and started using it again.

Amount Left: Finished!! I used up the last of this the very next day (the 12th).

#4. NARS Satin Lip Pencil in "Rakuan" 

Opinion: I'm so glad this is done. It's just not a lipstick I enjoy. I think maybe it's the almost metallic finish it has on my lips; not really my taste.

Amount Left: I went to sharpen it this morning, and the rest of the lipstick just fell out. So it is finished!

#5. Maybelline Master Fix Setting Spray 

Opinion: I do think this extends the life of my makeup, especially on busy work days. I just need to get in the habit of using a setting spray.

Amount Left: I remembered to use this most of the time this week (5/7 days; that's an improvement!). I know I'm somewhere near the bottom, but there is no way to tell how much is left with this packaging.

#6. Laura Mercier Cavier Stick in "Rose Gold" 

Opinion: I'm slightly getting tired of using this color over and over. I'm sticking it out, as I really wanted to just finish it, but we'll see where I'm at at the end of November. 

Amount Left: Anther small notch down. If the progress continues at this rate I'm thinking it will be finished in about 3-4 weeks. (Which seems both so close and so far away!)

#7. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in "Zero" 

Opinion: I've actually started to really like this as a black liner. It holds up pretty well in my waterline and glides on pretty smooth.

Amount Left: Made some more steady progress, but I know this product will still be going strong in 2018.. Eye liners take SO LONG to finish.

#8. Becca Backlight Priming Filter

Finished: 11-11-17

#9. First Aid Beauty Red Clay Face Cleanser

Opinion: I enjoyed this, but I'm not sure if I loved it enough to repurchase.

Amount Left: Finished!! I used this up the night of the 16th.

#10. Ole Henrickson Truth Serum

Opinion: I enjoy this serum. It sinks in fast and leaves my skin feeling nice and fresh. And I feel like I have a better skin day when I use it. Already repurchased (just not opened until I finish some samples).

Amount Left: Finished!! Even though you can see some product still in the bottom of the bottle, nothing comes up when I pump anymore. I used this up the morning of the 16th

It's Update Time for my project 10 pan!

1 week down! Let's see where I am with the products.

#1. Buxom Full On Lip Cream in "White Russian"

Opinions: I really enjoy this gloss (Buxom is my favorite lip gloss formula), but this product is getting up in age and I want to try and finish it before it goes off.

Amount Left: There still about 1/5 left of the product. I'm going to go ahead and warn you that I won't take out the stopper, but I'm going to continue using it until I can no longer access product.

Opinions: As mentioned last month, this is one of my favorite setting powders (I was devastated when they discontinued it) I just want to enjoy it and move it out of my collection.

Amount Left: I'm not really sure what happened... I opened this on Wednesday and it was shattered. I think it was just getting too thin around the edges? Or possibly my husband/cat knocked it over and since it was so fragile it shattered? Either way, I'm going to continue using this for now, but if it gets too messy or annoying I'm going to call it done.

#3. Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Face Compact in "Light 05"

Opinion: This is my favorite face powder. It has great coverage and feels nice on my skin. Plus, it is a good color match for me (which can be hard for me to find). I have a backup of this product so I'm just trying to move this old one out.

Amount Left: The Pan has expanded significantly. I will be surprised if this makes it to Wednesday.

#4. NARS Satin Lip Pencil in "Rakuan" 

Opinion: I like this just fine. I really enjoyed it last winter, but I've discovered other lip products I enjoy more, so I just need to move this lip pencil out.

Amount Left: I've made a little progress. You can no longer see any writing on the pencil itself and it's getting more difficult to sharpen.

#5. Maybelline Master Fix Setting Spray 

Opinion: I really haven't used this recently enough to give an opinion. it got lost in my collection and move.

Amount Left: I totally forgot this was in my project until I was taking pictures. (UGH!) Hopefully I'll start to use it this week. (Note: I am not updating pictures of this product because you cant see any progress.)

#6. Laura Mercier Cavier Stick in "Rose Gold" 

Opinion: I really like this for getting ready for work in the morning as I can just slap it on my eyelid and put a midtoned warm brown in my crease - eye look done!

Amount Left: I used this about 6 times in the past week. You can see from the line that it has gone down some.

#7. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in "Zero" 

Opinion: I've actually started to really like this as a black liner. It holds up pretty well in my waterline and glides on pretty smooth.

Amount Left: Made some progress, but I think this product will still be going strong in 2018 if this progress is any indication. Eye liners take SO LONG to finish.

#8. Becca Backlight Priming Filter

Opinion: I really love the glow this primer gives my skin, and it works wonderfully with my powder foundation. I love that combination! I'm going to try Becca's First light primer next, and see which of them I like best to buy the full size.

Amount Left: Woo Hoo!! 1 product down! 

#9. First Aid Beauty Red Clay Face Cleanser

Opinion: One of the many face wash samples I have. I enjoy it alright, but I'm not sure if I'd repurchase it.

Amount Left: There was considerable progress made . Hopefully this will be done in a week or two.

#10. Ole Henrickson Truth Serum

Opinion: I do still really like this serum. It sinks in fast and leaves my skin feeling nice and fresh. And I feel like I have a better skin day when I use it.

Amount Left: I may have to call this done here soon. Even though there is product still at the bottom, it's getting hard to pump it out.

Project 10 Pan

Here is my project pan for November 

(and probably December, but we'll play it by ear)

Now that I have gotten back in the groove with project pans, I figured I would up the products to 10. The first two items should look familiar if you were reading throughout October.

#1. Buxom Full On Lip Cream in "White Russian"

Opinions: Here it is again. I love this gloss, but this product is getting up in age and I want to try and finish it before it goes off.

Amount Left: As of the start of this project I believe there is somewhere between 1/3 and 1/4 of the product left. 

#2. Bare Minerals Mineral Veil Pressed Powder in "Transluscent" (Discontinued)

Opinions: As mentioned last month, this is one of my favorite setting powders (I was devastated when they discontinued it) I just want to enjoy it and move it out of my collection.

Amount Left: There's just the ring around the edge now. Well have to see how long it takes to use up, as I wont be making progress as quickly while finishing my powder foundation.

#3. Sephora MicroSmooth Baked Face Compact in "Light 05"

Opinion: This is my favorite face powder. It has great coverage and feels nice on my skin. Plus, it is a good color match for me (which can be hard for me to find). I have a backup of this product so I'm just trying to move this old one out.

Amount Left: I've already hit the cross hatch of pan in the middle, so there's not too much left to go.

#4. NARS Satin Lip Pencil in "Rakuan" 

Opinion: I like this just fine. I really enjoyed it last winter, but I've discovered other lip products I enjoy more, so I just need to move this lip pencil out.

Amount Left: There's just this nib left. No doubt this will be done with quickly.

#5. Maybelline Master Fix Setting Spray 

Opinion: I really haven't used this recently enough to give an opinion. it got lost in my collection and move.

Amount Left: I can tell I am nearing bottom when I shake it, but the bottle is just too dark for me to see just how much is left. For this reason, I will not be posting update pictures of this product, but I will just share when it is done.

#6. Laura Mercier Cavier Stick in "Rose Gold" 

Opinion: I recieved this in my sephora play box, and I really enjoy it. Even with my stubborn eye lids, this product will last a decent amount of time without an eye primer (but I use one anyway just to extend the lifespan for all-day wear). 

Amount Left: I only started using this, so there still quite a bit left. However, mine is just a sample, so theres only 0.03 oz of product in there.

#7. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in "Zero" 

Opinion: Not my favorite black liner, but I wanted to give it a real go to see if I will go ahead and finish this, or put it in my clutter bin.

Amount Left: Pretty much the whole travel-sized pencil

#8. Becca Backlight Priming Filter

Opinion: I really love the glow this primer gives my skin, and it works wonderfully with my powder foundation. I love that combination!

Amount Left: Maybe 1/4 of the sample

#9. First Aid Beauty Red Clay Face Cleanser

Opinion: One of the many face wash samples I have. I enjoy it alright, but I'm not sure if I'd repurchase it.

Amount Left: I think its about halfway done, but I'm not sure if air is trapped in there as well.

#10. Ole Henrickson Truth Serum

Opinion: I really loved this serum this past summer when I was using it religiously. Between getting married and moving, my skincare has taken a backseat. I'm hoping by putting this in the project I can make it habit again.

Amount Left: There's just the last little bit at the bottom.
